At Pouxo Studio, we are committed to maintaining the privacy, security, and trust of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you install and use the BMI Calculator: Weight Tracker mobile application (referred to as the "App").
In short: the App works entirely offline. All of your body metrics, health attributes, and habits are processed and stored only on your own device — we never collect, transmit, or store them on external servers.
1 Collection of Personal and Sensitive Health Data
Our App is designed to protect user privacy. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal identifiers, health data, or sensitive medical parameters on external servers.
All body metrics, health attributes, and habits you log or compute within the App are processed and saved strictly on your local device storage:
- User-Provided Metrics: Information you interactively enter using our interface sliders, including Age, Biological Sex, Height, and Weight.
- Calculated Health Parameters: Data dynamically computed on your device, including your calculated Body Mass Index (BMI), Estimated Body Fat Percentage, Ideal Body Weight (via the Devine formula), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), and daily macronutrient allocations (protein, carbohydrates, and fats).
- Progress and Log Tracking: Your local interactive weight progression timelines, history logs, and metabolic daily habit streaks (such as active step records and water intake goals).
2 How We Use Your Data
Because all processing occurs natively on your device, any data entered or computed is used solely to provide the core services of the App:
- To calculate and visualize your personal fitness and weight metrics over time.
- To provide local informational wellness guidelines and calorie target estimations based on standard healthy thresholds.
- To maintain your personalized habit tracking streaks locally.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or distribute your personal metrics, health profiles, or usage trends to any third-party advertisers, insurance providers, or external entities.
3 Third-Party Disclosures and Data Sharing
Data Transmission
The App functions completely offline. It does not integrate external SDKs or third-party tracking services that transmit your personal details off the device.
Data Integration
The App operates inside an isolated system sandbox and does not interact with external health APIs or device-wide health stores (such as Health Connect) unless explicitly disclosed and permission-granted by the user in future updates.
4 Data Security and Retention
Your profile records, log entries, and baseline metrics are handled on-device and are protected by standard Android operating system security layers.
Because your data is strictly stored in your local application directory, you retain complete control over your history. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage via Android device settings instantly and permanently purges all saved history, logs, and metrics. We do not maintain any backup copies.
5 Children's Privacy Compliance
The App is designed as an informational utility for adults looking to map standard fitness estimations and baseline metrics. We do not knowingly target or collect data from children under the age of 13, and the calculations provided rely on mature adult biological evaluation models. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has utilized the App, clearing the local app cache will delete any stored history immediately.
6 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to align with evolving platform standards or global privacy laws. Any updates will become effective immediately upon publishing the revised statement text within the App package or updating the policy URL linked on the Google Play Console. Your continued use of the application following adjustments indicates an acceptance of our local processing standards.
