1 Who we are
The app is published by Pouxo Studio ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@pouxo.com.
2 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms. A higher minimum age may apply in your jurisdiction.
3 Health disclaimer — please read
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Calorie targets, BMI values, macronutrient splits and AI-generated suggestions are estimates produced by general-purpose formulas and statistical models. They are not tailored to your medical history and are not a substitute for professional judgement.
- BMI and calorie figures come from standard published formulas (BMI, and the Mifflin-St Jeor equation) that describe populations, not individuals. They do not account for muscle mass, body composition, pregnancy, medication, metabolic conditions or many other factors.
- Where you select a sex option for which the underlying formula defines no value, the app uses an approximation, and tells you so.
- AI-generated food identification, calorie estimates and coaching replies can be wrong, sometimes confidently. Treat them as a rough starting point, not a measurement.
Consult a qualified doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, and always if you are pregnant, have an eating disorder or a history of one, are managing diabetes or any other medical condition, or are giving the app to a minor.
If you believe you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
You use the app's outputs at your own risk.
4 Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and to Google Play's terms.
- Copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the app
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense or redistribute it
- Remove any proprietary notices
- Use it in a way that breaks any applicable law
5 AI features
The AI food scanner and AI health coach are powered by Google Gemini via Firebase AI Logic. Using them sends data to Google as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Availability is not guaranteed. The features depend on a third-party service and may be slow, unavailable, or withdrawn.
- Usage limits apply. To keep the service running and control cost, the app limits how many AI requests can be made from an installation in a day, and enforces a short interval between requests. These limits may change without notice.
- Do not attempt to bypass these limits, automate requests, or use the AI features to generate unlawful, abusive or harmful content.
- Do not upload photographs of other people without their agreement, or any image you do not have the right to share.
6 Your content
Data you enter — profile details, weights, meals, water, recipes and photographs — remains yours. It is stored on your device; we do not claim ownership of it and we do not hold a copy.
When you use an AI feature, you grant us and our processor (Google) the limited permission necessary to transmit and process that content for the purpose of returning a result to you. Nothing more.
You are responsible for your own backups. Because the data lives only on your device, uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, using "Delete all my data", losing the device or a failed device transfer will permanently destroy it. We cannot recover it for you.
7 Advertising
The app displays advertisements supplied by third-party ad networks. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for anything you obtain from an advertiser. Any dealings with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.
8 Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design, text and code are owned by Pouxo Studio or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms grant you no rights in our trade marks or branding.
9 Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the app or any feature at any time, and we may stop supporting older versions. We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
10 Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app's calculations, AI outputs, or nutritional information are accurate, complete or suitable for your circumstances.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pouxo Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the app — including any decision you make about diet, exercise, medication or health on the basis of information the app provides.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 25.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pouxo Studio from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13 Termination
These terms apply until terminated. They terminate automatically if you breach them. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app. Sections 3, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.
14 Governing law
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Pouxo Studio is established, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have jurisdiction over any dispute — except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
15 Third-party terms
Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. The AI features additionally rely on Google services governed by Google's own terms.
16 Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, where the change is material, give notice in the app or on our website. Continuing to use the app after a revision means you accept it.
